This trek requires a functional level of fitness and the ability to negotiate a trail of well defined steps in ascent and descent. Like most alpine experiences weather changes can be frequent. We trek continuously through villages, rhododendron forests and hamlets gradually gaining altitude and arriving at Machapuchare Base Camp. From this point we have on really long day which involves an early start to ABC early in the morning followed by a descent on the same day. The other days on the trek involve 5-7 hours of trekking time, based on individual prepation and fitness. Our stay is in teahouses along our route on a shared basis and there is a selection of foods beyond the local fare available given that ABC is an established trail. This is a busy trail given its popularity and that is visible during the trekking day and the stay at teahouses.
We are always happy to share details of our unique travels and adventure without any commitment required.

Small group travel that is local, reponsible and takes everyone along. Our itineraries are put together to authentically offer a unique experience for our co-travellers. This almost always involves a different way of going on a popular adventure or very simply taking the lesser travelled road. Our guides, porters are friends whom we have travelled with over the years and we value them as fellow adventurers without whom our adventures are genuinely incomplete.
